The Mary Poppins-Inspired Guide to a Day Out in London

Let's go fly a kite on Hampstead Heath.

Step in time with the guards (sorry, chimney sweeps) at Buckingham Palace.

Go east and take turns at imitating a Cockney accent (if it's as funny as Dick Van Dyke's
you're the winner)

Buy an umbrella at James Smith & Sons. If it doesn't fly, use it as a dance prop.

Dance with the penguins at London Zoo, then ride the carousel.

Feed the birds at St. Paul's Cathedral then go inside to the Whispering Gallery and whisper that magical word, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

You'll love to laugh when you tell silly jokes over Tea at the Ritz (you won't be laughing when you get the bill).

Draw on the pavement any where you like (careful you don't get arrested!)

Enjoy a spoon full of sugar at Mrs Kibbles Olde Sweet Shoppe.

Take a jolly holiday with your family (ok, it's longer than a day, and not in London, but live a little!).
